Roulette is a game of pure chance. It doesn’t require any specialized skills to play, and there are no betting systems that can beat it. The basic wheel consists of divisions numbered 1 to 36 and red and black, plus a green zero (or double zero on American tables).
Betting for a round begins when the dealer clears losing bets and pays winners. Then, the croupier throws the ball into the spinning wheel.
Variations
Roulette games are available in many different variations and while most of them will offer the same game play, some of them differ when it comes to bets, payouts, and rules. The most popular variant is European Roulette which uses a standard 37 partition wheel with a single zero and has a house edge of 2.7%. Other games include French Roulette which follows the same rules as European roulette but features a unique table layout that has specific bets with French names and terminology. Another variation is Lighting Roulette which relies on multipliers to boost players’ winning potential. Lastly, Triple Bonus Spin Roulette from IGT features an additional wheel that delivers higher payouts of up to 1:12,000 for a straight bonus win.
